My Christmas Stout this year. Good stuff. Vanilla a bit of bourbon with coffee and finishing with a nice dark roast

Much more of a nose than the 2020, oddly enough. Lots of dark chocolate on the palate, too, nearly overwhelming the chalky minerality I usually get from KBS. My favorite of the 2018, 2019, and 2020 I tried in tonight's vertical.

Held up really nicely! Still a lot of chocolate and roasty coffee. Was this the last year the base was good? I haven’t had newer iterations

After 5 years of aging, perfection. The coffee edge is reduced, pours with a medium viscosity, carbonation is fine and still present. From my experience, do not let these age beyond 4 years.

Tastes just like it did 5 years ago. 2019 was a great KBS year!

A black classic. Taste as intense as the Jon Moxley NoDQ match I just watched. Lots of chocolate and coffee, without feeling pastry. The only way to drink coffee for me. The bourbonbarrel has flattened a bit after 4,5 years, the booze still packs a punch.

This tastes pretty similar to the 2023 that I had a couple months ago, with maybe a little less booze and a slightly smoother finish. Lots of coffee and bourbon on the nose, with rich chocolate and roasted beans notes throughout. Pretty quality stout!

Aged well. Nice sipper. Coffee bourbon chocolate with a bit of boozy bite.
