Aged another year. Wonderful nose. Very mellow and tasty. Has kept its carbonation. This has aged amazingly.

This is a sumptuous BA Scotch ale/wee heavy and best enjoyed with wee sips. It's boozy, malty, caramel, butterscotch, earthy, woody, subtle blackcurrant and figs, well balanced bourbon notes floating without boasting.

This ages so well. Biscuits and cocoa powder, charred oak, dry caramel, vanilla, and figgy pudding. Fantastic

A little thinner than previous visits. Still my favorite go-to Hillbilly Scot elixir!

9/19/18 peaty scotch ale wrapped in a blanket of smooth oaky bourbon. Beginning the slide into oxidation, but still warming and rich.

The boozy feel of 2016, but the roasty flavor of 2013.

Those who really know me know this is my favorite style. Since walking through those saloon doors at Odell Brewing in '92, this style wins.

One Under is clearing out some older Founders bottles at reduced prices. I’m all about the deal.

Finally trying this vintage bad boy! I will say, it's aged delectably!! Perhaps smoothed a smidge (just the right amount) and didn't appear to lose any flavor. I'm happy!!

V.20/03/21. No aroma, muito amadeirado, bastante Bourbon e baunilha. No sabor, amadeirado intenso, muitas frutas secas, ameixa, figos, tâmaras. Tostado bem perceptível, aquecimento alcoólico presente. Corpo médio-baixo, amargor alto. CxB ➕. R$ ?.

3/20/18 bastard. Obvious floating sediment/yeast/etc. So crazy smooth at this point. Delicious, but missing the bite of a new bottle. One of my favs.

Nydelig! Fint avrundet etter noen år, passelig alkoholstikk. Karamell, malt og noe vanilje.
