Bottled on 3/18/2018. This is really smoothing out and improving with age. Creamy chocolate, bourbon still holding strong and the coffee notes are mellowing.

Coffee is still hanging out somehow, but it’s getting earthy. Oak is dominant for sure. Not as much bourbon in this one.

Out of all the founders offerings this one is solid year after year after year. This 2018 is drinking great right now with awesome coffee flavors, dark chocolate and great barrel flavors.

Svart som natten. Lyst brunt og fint skum. Lukter masse karamell og kaffe og brød. Litt fruktig. Varmende, men ikke alkoholsterk. Smaker kaffe og sjokolade og litt tørket frukt. Deilig sødme fint balansert med etterhengende bitterhet. Veldig, veldig god!

Bourbon barrel aged Imperial Stout, coffee, loads of chocolate help to mellow the boozy taste of Bourbon.... Really good and no longer in production..Frank get it while it's still on tap

Perfektion. Tyktflydende sort lykke, med tæt brunt skum. Kokos, sorte bær og kakao i duften. Silkeblød, men prikkende på tungen. Dyb sødme, mørk kakao, god bitterhed fra både ristet malt, og humlen. Delt med en god ven, efter et dyp i Buresø.

Aged is the only way to go with this stuff. 3 years and no boozy aftertaste at all. Just smooth, roasty chocolate/coffee deliciousness 🔥🔥
