Chocolate, oak still present after 2 years. Not much bourbon flavor, lots of tobacco aroma, dry.

I like to keep a bottle of the year prior stowed away for enjoyment around this time. I was delighted to see I had a 2018 left. It was much cleaner. Boozy yet mellow. Good none the less.

My second kbs, first one was 2016 release few years ago, I liked it more then but also I was very noob at craft beer.

Ein kleines Kunstwerk. KBS always delivers! Balsamico-schokoladige Kaffeebombe, smooth as an oiled boob. Bourbon-Fass-Finish deluxe.

Pulled another out of storage. Mellows with age, allowing for some interesting depth to emerge. Less coffee, almost closer to bittersweet licorice.

Very rich but not too sweet with strong bitterness and big coffee hit. Not as nice as the hype made me believe. Not as smooth as I thought-quite nice to sip though.

This is truly awesome! Perfect taste of coffee with delicious chocolate overtones creating harmonies only angels can hear. This really makes the mountains sing with birds against an icy sky. And I heard bells ringin’. I think I heard an angel sigh.

More chocolate and coffee flavor this year. Nice balance. More bourbon flavor as it warms up. Vanilla. Caramel. Roasty. Slightly sweet. Bitter. Boozy. Thick. Dark. Strong. Smooth. Delicious.
