Creamy, sweet and complex. Even better after aging a bottle for a year. Don't like the smokey character but otherwise well done. Yum.

Ok. The year+ that this has aged in my fridge has only helped. The fudge has really become the focus- not the maple, not the barrel aging. This is a phenomenal beer.

Ok this one of my favs by founders. So fudgy with a pleasant and slight coffee/bourbon. The maple is less pronounced now due to aging

A superb coffee Stout that cuts the sweetness of the maple and chocolate and also reigns in the bitterness of the coffee. Oddly, there is almost no presence of barrel aging in this beer. An all-time great beer

Boozy fudge aroma. Rich fudge, bourbon, chocolate coffer flavors. Thick mouth feel. Boozy fudge aftertaste.

This is still drinking really well cold there is more fudge but as it warms, the coffee comes through much more. No doubt this is my favorite of the variants so far.
