The most approachable KBS I’ve had yet – only a hefty punch to the forebrain. Lighter in texture than expected, but well balanced between toasty coffee notes and sweet chocolate fudge.

Sweet but not overpowering. Slight coffee but chocolate still comes through.

Big maple and chocolate nose, but not too sweet taste with coffee bitterness. Bourbon in there but muted by fudge flavors. Alcohol is hidden.

Mmm guessing this is a 2022? Maple was subtler than I was expecting & bourbon non existent but this is a pretty fantastic slightly sweet delish dessert good night beer

YES! This is boozy hot chocolate. Very fudgey but still lets you know it's a stout. Yes some coffee and yes some maple sweet but the chocolate is the star of the show

Honestly it taste a lot like regular KBS. I was hoping for the chocolate to be turned way up. I don't even taste the maple.

Solid variant. Decent mouth feel. The maple and fudge are there with neither dominating. Would like to see more maple and fudge next time around. Overall it beat my expectations

Would lime to see this a bit thicker, but that being said, wow founders. Your first variant of KBS is very good. A nice pastry stout.

11% ABV BBA Imperial Stout. This variant has tons of fudgy chocolate and moderate maple to enhance the base bourbon Imperial stout notes. Fall has sprung!

1st impression: slightly chilled: It’s good, don’t get me wrong, but it’s NO CBS impo-too much going on to focus on individual flavors-a “mish-mash” but a great all around offering.

2nd attempt- room temp: easier drinking (at 11%= scary good) but again, impo too much going on to be a “cohesive brew”-it’s an attempt at a known success (CBS) and for me, falls short.
