Chocolate coffee and maple syrup stout that sat in a barrel for a while. Just like the label says.

Found a dusty relic from 2017. Nose is sweet & mildly roasted, noticeable bourbon barrel elements. Taste is maybe a bit too maple sweet, but the barrel note is perfect. The abv not an issue.

Awesome notes from those barrels, super smooth, lots of vanilla, delicious maple finish, and a heart warming boozy aftertaste.

😢 2 drink up - part 335. The second 🍺, the other one was 2 weak in the taste & body and ended up in the drain. This one is 👊🏻, 2 bad they are not producing this 🍺 anymore. Good amount of ☕️

Not much carbonation left and the maple is toned down but still one of the best.

I suspect I have kept this too long… and I probably have. The coffee is now stronger than I remember.  it’s really my fault so I won’t rate this time. I loved it years ago.

Light and a little watery for a coffee stout this strong, but otherwise it’s just a right down the straight and narrow slightly coffee stout.

My 11th and likely my last check in for the 2017 version. I loved this fresh but it's definitely declined. It's better than the last time I had it, it has some chocolate and maple and a bit of soy. And this may be my last Founders check in ever!

Wow! I don't know how Eureka! scored a keg of this, but it is really good! There's a cool silky lactose mouthfeel, but also an earthiness of mushroom beers. This is on top of all the maple and coffee to be expected from CBS.

I lucked out. Aged. Dark chocolate slight maple and a slight booze back end. Not overly thick. Def lighter than usual but still a bomb.

Bardzo fajnie się starzeje! Teraz popiołu już w ogóle nie ma. Nadal jest za to wanilia, syrop klonowy, bourbon. Nie za słodkie, za to bardzo gładkie.

Still tasting great. Maple has dropped off a bit, but still getting some nice booze and coffee notes.
