Whew, this really smoothed out! from way back when they still made real bombers, I'm digging deep in cellar. F COVID

Look what I found in the basement! Still tasting the oak. Caramel and burbon. Not for chugging.

Aged well, very smooth and boozy - thank you for the share E!

Was expecting this to be disgustingly boozy with age...pleasantly surprised

3.9. Hmmm. Now three years almost four years old and... This is an odd brew. I would say its now in its prime. The nose is wonderful, cherry, sweet bourbon, subtle booze. Mouthfeel is smooth. Flavor is boozy, sweetness, warming, cherry, malty odd finish.

Don’t know why I don’t have a check in for this because I tried it when I first bought it and I didn’t like it at all. I’ve been sitting on the other three bottles since hoping it would mellow out and it totally has. Very smooth now.

Time did this one huge favors....no more overwhelming booze, drinking like a less sweet English Barleywine. Thanks for sharing Don 🍻

Strong, sweet, malty, and pretty well-balanced. Really nice. Bit disappointed that an off-licence sells a bottle that is 3 years past the expiration date for €7 though... I guess that means I have the 2017 edition (bottle only mentions expiration date).

DKML is needed on a warm spring night with a high of 32°, aged well in the 4th Cellar!

Solid beer! Thanks Tim for the share! Big barrel bite easy on the malty vibes!

Had these since 2017 and just realized I never rated it. Bourbon and booze notes still kicking. Maltiness has subdued. Thanks Dustin H. for having this with me.

Would this ever “go bad” at 14.2% ABV? Another find in the Beer Fridge From Hell!

Not awful with almost 5 years on it. Still a bit boozy but smoother type boozy. Actually think I have one more buried even deeper in my beer cellar that I have yet to unearth.

Interesting fridge find. 2017 Dick Kicker Malt Liquor. Held up pretty well. Tastes like an apple brandy aged barley wine.
