Rik og fyldig malt, med en del sødme. Litt eik, krydder og tørket frukt. Hint av røyk og en litt bitter undertone. Meget bra.

Rich boozy aroma, boozy thick honeyed vine-fruited hoppiness oozes across the palate with a satisfyingly bitter base, lingering bitter-rich raisinous aftertaste. Boozy, vinous, characterful.

Сразу в аромате старый побелевший, горький шоколад. Во вкусе он же и горбушка хлеба с сухофруктами, ириска. В целом расслаиваться стал.

Erstaunlicher Fund in der Grabbelkiste. Nach drei Jahren dann schon ordentlich eingekocht. Viel Rosine, brotig, etwas schlapp karbonisiert, aber halt n Klassiker. Geht immer.

A lot going on as usual with a good scotch ale. It’s hoppy and malty. Sweet, oaky, earthy finish to it. Hints of caramel as well. Fresh it’s ok but id like to try this aged for maybe a year. I bet it would smooth out pretty good

Good vintage. Sounded like a nice pairing with a brat patty, and it is. Who knew they had different years on Untappd for this?

It's what Jim's had that wasn't too far past ideal consuming range after production. Great reward after a white-knuckle/4-wheel trip out to the Keweenaw Rocket Range, ~9 miles beyond the beginning of US 41!

Thin, caramel, light smoke and a hint of hoppy bitterness. Sweetness.

Bottled 09/07/21. Malty, of course, a little creamy, but I would like more smoky peat to the point of almost being harsh.
