Haven’t had this in about 11 years - looks like it was changed to a BW from a maple BBA wheat wine this time. This tastes how I remember Bigfoot used to when I liked it - smooth and malty with some roastiness and just enough bitterness. 3/8/21 bottle.

I'm not normally too keen on barleywine, but this is quite nice. Not too much of an edamame aftertaste. Alcoholic burn, but more refined. Complex, yet simple. Kudos!🍻

Little heavy however for a beer at tye end of a long day, yes this will do.

Mahogany hue. Big, boozy and bold. Malty at the start with classic flavors of dried fruit and caramel, bitter piney bite at the finish. On par with the draft version

Definitely more bitter than other barley wines I have had

That's some very sweet rich malt. It's a bit piney with a solid end. It of course has a full mouthfeel with a good ABV punch.

Wee bit bitter, but pretty awesome overall.

Bottled 3/9/21. Pretty dark, roasty, somewhat crisp, strong, but ABV well hidden, aromatic, good lasting hoppiness/kinda fruity/piney, nice bitterness, pretty smooth, good balance with strong maltiness, generous sweetness, rich, solid barleywine.

Deep red brown color. Sweet malt and piney hops dominate flavor and aroma. Dangerously drinkable.

Hoppy bitterness & roasty malts. Comes off more like a strong, slightly sweet black IPA.

I am thinking Melissa and Ryan may have something to do with this being at Flight. Aroma okay and molasses. A bit of acrid barrel, but definitely a barleywine. On the dry side, improve with aging.

"Do you know what nemesis means?" Answer: a pretty good barleywine. More dark malt than usual but that was the point according to them.

Malty with notes of black licorice. Not quite living up to the two originals but a nice throwback nonetheless.

Malty & hoppy with boozy undertones. Hints of dried stone fruits and a modest pine linger on the finish

Big and burly and while I think the dry roasty notes are interesting it becomes too much. The bitterness is spot on for a fresh BW tho. I just want more of that traditional malt character and less roast.

Wow this is a shock to the tongue but I want more.

This is nice and roasty up front with a slight malt character that leads into a dry and bitter finish. Really good!
