Bottle Shop Series Highball Drifter

Brown Ale - American

They don't make 'em like they used to... or do they? The bottle shop series is a tribute to the folks who supported ragtag brewer's across the country when craft beer was in its infancy. when beer enthusiasts sought out innovation through big flavor, in your face complexity and revered quality above all else. This series is for you: the distinguished beer connoisseur still seeking the revolution that energized the industry we know today -- that settles for nothing less then the very best!

I like the old-fashioned inspired flavor profile. Muddled orange and sweet cherry notes tinged with Bourbon.

Definitely get the Old Fashioned vibe and I like it. Surprised to see this is a brown; seems like an old ale to me. This is a nice sipper. This will be a love it or hate it beer.

Lots of cherry flavor. Tastes like a cherry soda and not in a bad way. Zero orange peel flavor

Huge brown am. Rich, nutty, a bit of xhocolate. At 11%, much richer, than others, but it should be.

Dang! Reminds me of the old days when I'd go to "Old Man" Bars where they drank 7/7s and Jacks and Coke. Very cool.

Like a beer version of an old fashioned. It’s delicious but best enjoyed in small quantities.

Not a beer but basically a beer old fashioned. Quite the drink for the last drink of the day! Maybe it isn’t.

Hides it’s booze extremely well. Mild bourbon flavor which lingers that’s balanced with forward fruit flavor.

A good nose of caramel and vanilla, hints of cherries. Tastes of cherries, orange peel, baseline caramel malts, and barrel vanilla. The ABV is only noticeable in the finish, a subtle heat. Quite tasty.
