Bottle Shop Series Highball Drifter

Brown Ale - American

They don't make 'em like they used to... or do they? The bottle shop series is a tribute to the folks who supported ragtag brewer's across the country when craft beer was in its infancy. when beer enthusiasts sought out innovation through big flavor, in your face complexity and revered quality above all else. This series is for you: the distinguished beer connoisseur still seeking the revolution that energized the industry we know today -- that settles for nothing less then the very best!

Tastes a little better than the “old fashioned” barleywine at Founders

This is solid. Getting ready for the fall and football season with bigger bourbon barrel aged beers! Let’s go!

Nice bourbon flavor that mixes well with the orange and cherry notes. Get more orange flavor than cherry. Smooth and refreshing.

Doesn’t taste like a brown at all. More like a strong ale radler! It’s pretty good!

Aroma of faint bourbon, caramel, and citrus. Taste is delightful with bold vanilla, oak, coconut, and bourbon upfront while cherry and citrus hover faintly in the background. Boozy finish but not too overpowering. A nicely done beer!

11%’er that exceeds my expectations. Multitude of flavors going on in this one. Perfect choice for my Ryder Cup celebratory beverage.

This beer was interesting. Different. Sweet & boozy. Not bad but not great. Drinks pretty well for 11% abc but not sure if I would purchase again. I don’t hate it. Nice attempt to make beer taste like a mixed drink.

Caramel nose. Pours brown, but not opaque. Decently robust head. Smooth mouthfeel. Sweet, bourbon, caramel, vanilla. Pretty tasty.

Lots of orange peel. This is a cocktail. Tastes more like a Ready To Drink (RTD) than any RTD I've ever had.

Super interesting. About as close to a cocktail as a beer could get. Feel like I am in a speakeasy about to break out my Charleston.

Agree this taste something like a brown with something like a rye or barleywine. Slightly sweet lingers in the mouth. Pretty good stuff.

Surprisingly delicious. Tastes like a lightly flavored ba brown ale. Cherry integrates seamlessly and the orange is just enough to give some aroma. Great deal
