Another step forward for a beer that was on the downslope

A deep rich stout with loads of breakfast oriented flavors … cinnamon, vanilla and roasted cocoa. A bitter bite of dark chocolate comes into play balancing with a hint of sweetness. The sip plays out into a slight crisp finish.

This is so rich. But the most suttle barrel-aged of their series in terms of bourbon flavor. The rich cocoa, vanilla and hint of cinnamon overpowers the bourbon, which is a nice change of pace

Still not what I’d like it to be. The bourbon is coming through more than before, but the cinnamon and powdered cocoa still seem overbearing.

Not bad. Very little noticeable booze. It's rather like a vanilla and cinnamon coffee.

Great for a taste test with swampscum! Rich stout. 12% is plenty. Nice balance. Chocolate flavor is great. Cinnamon is subtle. Bourbon barrel aging is very noticeable.

Cocoa is there with the cinnamon but the vanilla is not really coming through. The coffee is really present along with a touch of the bourbon.

Cinnamon, lots and lots of cinnamon. Taste like a liquid cinnamon roll.

Shockingly subtle cinnamon. Cocoa, vanilla and oak combine for a nice coconut flavor.
