I hate hazelnut but love KBS. tad bitter than I like but hazelnut fans are gonna love it. Rated accurate for what it’s going for.

Love the aroma, but the Hazelnut is noticeably artificial on the backend of the taste.

Not a lot of barrel, hazelnut is lovely though. Relatively dry, smooth, medium bodied, quite roasty, a healthy level of bitterness, fudgy chocolate, pretty nice. And the nose is spectacular.

It's tasty. Strong hazelnut flavor. Only complaint is that the body seems very thin for KBS and the nuttiness overpowers the coffee, choc & the BA

I liked the original better. Hazelnut was too strong.

Almost smoky. Woodiness compliments the hazelnut. Chocolate liqueur. Maybe needs a little more age, slight harshness. Much warming. Some cherry

Variants have been mostly disappointing so far... this one was better than Cinna Cocoa

Founders used to be the host of BA brews. But this one was just meh. I mean, not bad, but not good for them.

Very strong peanut flavor. I know, it supposed to be hazelnut. Sorry, tastes like a peanut butter daiquiri.

Good, but I’ve have multiple shelfie hazelnut stouts that top it. Barrel is the weakest of recent KBS memory. Coffee is still the centerpiece.

Very heavy on the hazelnut. Hopefully it will get smoother with aging.

Very good beer, definitely let it warm. The question is whether the hazelnut enhances or detracts from the outstanding beer underneath. As it warms it gets better, but I would say the original is better.

Huge hazelnut aroma and some up front nuttiness, but that quickly fades as the beer warms and gives way to rich cocoa and some light coffee. Minimal barrel, but still tasty. #proper
