So many of the older, larger craft brewers have lost their touch. Glad to see Founders still makes a darn good beer.

Insane beer with an even greater brewers decription: "...warm smells of single malt scotch, oaky bourbon barrels, smoke, sweet caramel & roasted malts, a bit of earthy spice & a scintilla of dark fruit. It’s a kick-back sipper made to excite the palate."

This is the 2nd bastard on the list this evening & it kicks it up a notch or two! Maintains the malt complexity with some Scotch essence, but the Bourbon Barrel-Aging adds a sweet & warming character. Finishes with oaky vanilla undertones. It’s Crackin’!

Needed a Michigan beer for today’s game. Toasty, caramel, sweet, with whiskey undertones. Boozy. Good mouthfeel, maybe a little thin. Great wee heavy.

It's time to rate this one 4.5 For years I appreciate this beer, always rated it a bit lower then founders CBS-KBS-Curmudgeon, but this threesome can get company of a fourth member. Still have old ones of this in the cellar, should do a tasting.

Haven’t had any founders in awhile. Beer tastes as good as I remember with some notes of racism and selling out.

It’s been a couple of years since I last tasted this, but for some strange reason, when I look at the label, the only thing that comes to mind is “You got a purdy mouth boy!!”

Aroma røstet malt, tørket frukt, nøtter, appelsin, kakao og eikefat. Smaker røstet malt, tørket frukt, nøtter, appelsin, lønnesirup og bourbon fat. God varm avslutning👍🍺😎👍🍺😎

Caramel, raisin and slight smoke on the nose, smooth medium bodied mid with some subtle smoke and earthy peatiness with a touch of molasses and dried fruit for balance but in no means cloying, dry throughout, dry bourbon finish, abv absent, crushable
