I bit old, but seems to have held up decently compared to other years I’ve had. The bottle is a little dirty from storage… so technically this could be considered an “ol dirty bastard” lol

Still decent but likely past it’s prime. Notes of caramel, bit of fruity esters, and not much else. Extremely smooth with zero alcohol heat remaining, you’d never know it’s >10%. Drink ‘em if you got ‘em!

Just thought I'd dip into the cellar in honor of our Saints

Un balance perfecto entre, madera, bourbon y maltas!

Had in 2022. A little toned down. But it surprisingly still had some decent scotch flavoring.

Has thinned out but also the alcohol has rounded off nicely.

Very thin and little head when poured, barrel has taken a back seat to the toffee, biscuity, base beer with slight hints of vanilla, fig and peppery anise.

9.30.15 sweet fig caramel nose/mouth. softly murkier 7 years later. need to seek out a fresher 1 soon as the weather is getting there & it’s 1 of my fav styles.

More chocolate and bourbon up front finishing sort of dull malty. Better than the aged 2014.

This is one of my favorite beers. 7 years is probably a bit too long though. Not bad at all, just a little muted.

Huh! Still very effervescent and quite sweet. Has a smooth velvety texture that finishes a bit chalky bringing notes of vanilla, coconut, prunes, sherry, and chocolate pudding. On the verge of losing character but complex and still tasty.

Last 2015 from my cellar has been consumed. Still very good 7 years later.

Don't remember where I got this. But I wish I had a dozen more.

Pretty oxidized at this point, although after 7 years… yeah. It’s opening up a little as it warms up, kind of a “See’s candy but I forgot to take it out of the wrapper” vibe. Still enjoyable, but not at its best.

Got that 7 year itch. Had to scratch it.

This one fell off a lot compared to the 2016 I had a few months ago. Still some boozy molasses flavor in the finish, but really thinned out. Impressive that it's drinkable after spending almost 7 years in the cellar

Very nice brew, bourbon and spices, covers and cinnamon I reckon, but clearly, at 6-7 years has overreached its prime a little bit.
