Interesting variant. Bourbon base still there - notes of caramel present. finish loses dark fruits in favor of maple sweet / vanilla / hint cinnamon. It flows well good strength clean and is unique - French toast scottish ale. Don’t think it’ll age well

Damn. Maple syrup on the nose but not overpowering. Mouthfeel a lot of cinnamon but Then back to maple syrup on the finish with slight vanilla. Not overly sweet.

When this first appeared, it was a keg only brew. I'm happy to see it in a bottle form. It isn't as heavy as I remember, but the flavor is incredible It has more maple than anything I've ever tasted in a beer, and maple syrup has never been a bad thing.

I've been waiting for this one! Yes it's intended to be French toast but it's smoked vanilla and it's freaking delicious!!! Sweet and strong and immediately in my top 3 Founders beers. I would choose this over KBS *ducking
