Well it’s back after being retired. Thick and warming coffee and cocoa…the bourbon goes well with brunch…it is a “breakfast” stout after all. 😉

The irony here is the 2018 in BLiS barrels is kinda past its prime, while the 2023 with maple syrup added could use some time on it. Still enjoyable though.

Roasted coffee and chocolate up front then finish’s with the maple syrup.

Really nice. Glad they decided to crank back into brewing this one. Tons of chocolate malty sweetness and roasty coffee with the perfect kiss of maple sweetness and woody barrel.

So glad they decided to bring this back! Love the maple/syrup flavor of this one! Not super boozy either!
