20 years of KBS! The KBS variants tend to be reliably good & this version balances rich bittersweet chocolate with a chile heat that lingers without being overly dominant. Jet black w slight rim of tan head that lasts. Subtle, lasting mole chile heat.

The spicy hint is so subtle it's almost not there. Which is just the way I like spiciness in my stouts.

A little 🌶️ spicy goodness. Not too sweet - good coffee finish. Another winner from Founders!

Not actually spicy (as reviews and staff confirmed), but a distinct pepper flavor to it. Tastes kinda like a slightly watered-down Mexican mocha, but then with a boozy finish. Would drink a taster portion again!

I don't want to say I'm disappointed, because this is good, not sure it's up to KBS standards though. Hint of chocolate, hint of spice but nothing to write home about. They did hide the 12% ABV well

Sweet start with a mild spicey feel. Finishes with a little chocolate flavor and rebound spiciness.

I think the Spicy is from the High ABV!! Burning love. Good Flavor and smooth going down. This one could get you in trouble!
