Did not get any heat at all. Chocolate was just ok. Disappointing

Not really spicy more just spiced. Like the chocolate and KBS part, the spicy draws away from it.

It's was a little too much and overpowering of spicy at 1st when cold. As it warmed up, it became more drinkable.

Smooth and creamy with a definite spicy coffee chocolate flavor.

Burnt chocolate coffee. Probably be better in a less coffee heavy base

Why are breweries afraid to use real peppers in their beers, I want some goddamn heat!!

My least favorite kbs variant to date. It's not spicy, like heat, but more of like a weird mix of burnt spices. Of course its still salvaged somewhat by the base. Disappointing given how excited I was to pick it up.

Barrel Aged night 2 with Allison C. And Debi C. Expecting more. Chocolate on the nose. The KBS coffee is present with hints of the pepper. Maybe more pepper and chocolate with less coffee? Good not great.

Pretty decent for a mass scaled BA stout. Could use some more body.

Nicely refined. Subtlety sweet, but the bba is subtle. It's where it should be. The spice might be overly shy. Never really builds. Not too sweet. It's very good.

Solid BBA Stout! Lots of bitter dark chocolate, mild coffeeish roast, chili pepper, the finish is smooth and sweet with zero bourbon flavor. Thanks Greg S.

Smooth chocolate with nice bourbon notes. Spice is a nice addition, but barely perceptible

Really good. As always when chili peppers are involved leaves me wanting more heat.
