Bfln. I dug it. Needed heat. None there for the most part.

Even letting it warm a bit, I'm still not getting the "spicy". If you're gonna be spicy, kick me in the mouth with it!

Very disappointed in the thin-ness and lack of bold flavor

Latest KBS variant. Smooth sweet chocolate flavor with slight chili spice finish. Barrel flavor not very present. Wish there was a little more spice given it is a spicy variant but still very good.

The chocolate is quite prominent with mild chili notes. It could serve to be spicier and lean more in the chili element to keep up with some of its peers, but still quite good

Heat seems to arrive with a little wait and some temperature. Fun variant.

Chocolate is prominent, not so much spice. Good KBS varient. With Chris Jerr and Steve.

Great beer. Wish the spice was a notch more. More like mango magnifico spice. Great beer nonetheless.

Unique flavor good overall though definitely some spice and some chocolate. Alittle weird on finish. .

Smooth tasty tons of burnt chocolate flavor. No hint of spice. Ok. Strong

Was going to skip this until Lawton K. Recommended it. Pretty solid. One of the better KBS variants I’ve had in awhile. Lots of chocolate and a little kick of heat that comes out as it warms.

Subtle chocolate and chili notes, while very drinkable for a high ABV.

#ThursdayNightStout. This is “fine”, but I still think base unadulterated KBS is as good as (or better than) any of the adjuncted versions or variants.

The chilies are more in the flavor than heat. Super slight amount of heat. Decent chocolate flavor, noticeable coffee. Bourbon and oak are both present. Not my favorite variant, but it's tasty. 4/5

Black opaque, light chocolate head, nice aroma of chocolate, hints of pepper and coffee, thick body. Melted chocolate start, with peppers hitting the back of the throat and light coffee slight earthy finish. Barrel presence comes out in aftertaste. 4.15
