12oz bottle pour FLN. I liked this more than I thought I would as it wasn’t too spicy and the chocolate helped tamp down & complemented the coffee taste.

Little bit of spice on the back end. Doesn’t taste as boozy at 12% as I thought it would be.

Underwhelmed a bit. Got the spicy (even 6 hours later 🙄) but it wasn’t up to expectations. The chocolate was ok, but subdued…maybe too much.

Still a good amount of coffee. More smoke than spice for me. I don't get much barrel.

Nice dark chocolate aroma. Great BA qualities. Dark roasted coffee with a touch of chili pepper.

Pitch black pour with thick light brown head, excellent retention and lacing. Aromas of chocolate, coffee, molasses, oak, and a hint of smoke. Flavors of chocolate, coffee, molasses, and caramel, hints of chill peppers, vanilla, bourbon, and oak.

Michigan 12% ABV barrel aged Imperial Stout that was brewed with coffee, chocolate, chocolate syrup, and dried chilies. It’s somewhat thick and chewy with malt, bourbon, dark chocolate, a ton of roasted coffee, and a more smoky than spicy chili finish.

"Mole Inspired Variant of KBS, our barrel aged coffee stout. We add Dried Chili Peppers and chocolate for a unique & unexpected twist to our KBS" very restrained use of peppers, good balance of chocolate and spice

Tastes like a KBS. Unfortunately the hot pepper is very shy. There's a hint on the sniff, and the tiniest nip of heat in the fade. It's still rich and full with big whiskey and chocolate tones. I wanted more heat, though. You'd never know it was 12%.
