In its prime, it was EXCEPTIONAL. This one is past. Then again it has been 9 years!

"Enjoy now or age for a decade or so" well this is certainly a decade or so, and it is tasting more than alright. Flavorwise closer to a Bigfoot than Pliny, but it is great. First night of a solo verticle through 16/17

Sen verran vanha pullo etten olis ollut tarpeeks vanha juomaan tätä tuoreena. Mukavaa, että tiemme kohtasivat!

Sugar packed, nice and tame. The 2017 was boozier than

Here’s to hoping alcohol really kills germs. Thanks for the hook up Pauly T. it’s still tasting great.

18 percent in 2011= all the percent today. It’s like a time machine, by the end of it you’re all the way back in 2011, listening to levels in a dingy basement trying not to black out. It’s just a treat.

Despite the pic, hardly any carb. Reminds me of hotd doggie claws. Very good for what it is, a big malt bomb sipper for winter nights. Still have the signed 2007 edition left. Thx again Dave

Quite good, easy drinking, heat from alcohol creeps in very late.

Given this beer is 9 years old...kind of raisiny now. Smells like a box of crayons. I drank more of it than Isuck B.

If you like barleywine and you've never had an aged 120 minute, you don't know what you're missing. Immediately try it. Second to none. Plums, raisins, figs and the like. Rich caramel. Sweet w/ no bite. If only they barreled this for a couple years...

No rating, because I'm really not sure what this is supposed to taste like now. Bought this bottle in 2018, figured 10 years is a good age to get it out of my fridge. Imagine extracting the flavors from an old pile of wood, thats what we have here.

My son bought this for me at the brewery in 2011. We shared it today 😀

Brown sugar malty alcohol bomb. Not very good but definitely nostalgic on 1/20. Last beer I had from NY.

Last bottle of the 2011 compared with a 2020 vintage. 2011 = sugary sweet and boozy fire. 2020 = hops (citrus notes) and sweet with bitterness on the finish. Worthy of the occasion.

Richly aged, a bit of off-noting but a lovely beer. Worthwhile day to bust this out

Wow! Nice surprise gift from Sheila's friends Becky and Mike. Thanks!!

Ooh, so sweet and toffee like now. When you're stuck inside due to ice, might as well clear the cellar!

What you have here is the holy Grail for hopheads. This beer is continually hopped over a hunderd twenty minute boil and then dry hot for over a month. Enjoy now our age for a decade or so.

From last night. Still has most of its carbonation. Still extremely delicious.

10-year-old beer for National Beer Day! Still tasting great. Vinous, fruity, tannic, and barleywine-like.

About to crack this old boy open. After holding onto it for 11 years, wish me luck!

Held up suprisingly well and pretty damn good. Like a slightly heavier hopped non-BA BW or strong ale. More malty than dark fruit.

Bottled 9/19/2011 - Almost 10 years young. Still has a light carb and the booze are still present. Nice delicious raisin and tasty 120 classic malt build. First Beer in new house, thought it needed to be something special!

Slightly sweet with a great strong abv. Aged woody flavor of toffee. Amazing flavors just sit on the tounge

This is not an ipa anymore. Pretty sure it's even beyond anything I've ever drank.

Bottled in 2011. Sweet, the hops are gone along with the alcohol finish, it's like a really good brandywine. Wow, if you have some 120, age it, it's worth it.

Thanks Jimmy. 10 year old 120. Next stop 20 year old 120.

This was superbbbb got a little taste of this, and now I can’t wait to open my 2008 bottle.

Reached ten years of bottle maturity last month on the 19th, I'm a little late to its birthday party. Smells more malty, caramel, toffee, faint hops, no sign of them, sickly sweet barley, muted hops on the taste. Transformed from a triple IPA > barleywine

10 years. Incredible. Nice little sweetness to it and wasn’t as heavy as I originally had thought.

Happy Delaware Day! On Dec. 7, 1787, the Legislative Council unanimously approved the Constitution, making Delaware the first state. The site of the vote is this current building. To celebrate, I went to the cellar and opened this 10-year old beer!
