I bought this at a random liquor store in Indianapolis in 2013. This beer is always a hot mess, fresh. But, with some age on it, it really starts to shine like the barleywine it actually is. Figs, toffee, raisins, bitter, pleasant boozy warmth.

Showing its age. A lot of sediment. Not holding up at this point.

my first 120 minute, super complex hoppy barleywine with that boozy kick, 10+ years later.

More akin to 2012 than 2011, but a bit more alcohol bite. Still not much to complain about.

2013 BOTTLE! This is the first bottle of 120 that I ever received and it was from Carolyn. Figured was a good time to open it 🍻👍 Happy New Year every one.

Bottled 7.2.13 Glad I kept one of these for a full decade Barleywine like all around, a sipper for sure…799 BBOTW…

Yum. Hops are still surprisingly strong after 10 years. Verticals of 120min are dangerous due to the amount of leftovers… capping in preparation for ANOTHER share later this week…

I grabbed a 2013 bottle from the cellar while going over a career changing job offer. The 120 really ages well. The complex flavor is better than I remembered. This is so far removed from being an IPA now. Glad I still have these from 2012 on.

This is now a barley wine. All of the hop bitterness is gone, leaving intense hop flavors and sweetness. Yummy!

Bottle says "ages well" but I don't think they meant 10 years. Found this on a back shelf in the basement. More malty than hoppy, but still surprisingly good.

Bottled 7/23/2013, aged over 10 years. Held up surprisingly well, with no off-flavors. Sweet and malty. Boozy but surprisingly drinkable considering the sky-high ABV. Some hop bitterness but mostly subdued.

Kevan’s Cellar Clean-Out #33: This fish is still swimming. Crazy to say that, but it’s still pretty solid. Incredible.

FLN! 10 years after bottled date! Was like an incredible English style Barleywine. Would love to buy a 4 pack every year moving forward and enjoy it aged 10 years. Wow!

Ovile….#2. Sour nose. Cloudier than 2012. Not AS good but still drinkable amongst friends.

Not as good as the 2012, but the fact it’s 10 yrs old still says something. Has a sharper bite or punch than the 2012, not sure if it’s soured a little.

10 years! Cheers to my baby in a successful surgery.

Hot damn. 10 years old, no hops, slightly oxidized and malty but drinking like a barleywine. Seriously dangerous at 17.5% because it’s drinking like it’s 9-10%

Oldest beer I had on the shelf. At 10 years, definitely notable to have on my birthday. Shout out to Russell for getting this beer for me 10 years ago. Finally having this one. Super smooth at this point. Rather mellow.

I see other people had the same idea, a 120 on 1/20. This aged amazingly well!

10 years is a little too long it turned into a barleywine!
