It’s been years since I’ve had one of these. This is an extremely sweet sipper.

Wow. Almost tastes like a strong ale or barley wine, as opposed to a quad ipa. Strongest ipa I’ve ever had, 16%abv. Almost like a bucket list beer I’ve always wanted to try, but didn’t want to spend $10.00 for a 12 oz. bottle. Decent overall.

Still a good beer. Nice stone fruit aroma and it is still very smooth.

Sadly this in not as good as 120’s from the 2000’s. I still have bottles of ‘03 & ‘07 that are obviously a different recipe. This beer is more like 105 minutes. It lacks depth, body & complexity that aging can not help. Still a good beer, Just not 120!

A Classic from Dogfish Head. Creamy, Easy Drinking, Sweet Finish. Recipe hasn't changed much from the last 10yrs!

Orange/light-umber with the thinnest eggshell head. Medium-light body, & mouthcoating. Hop-profile way more mild than I expected. Nicely balanced w/ delicate notes of tangerine, agave nectar, grapefruit, and brandy. Warming alcohol, but not harsh.

Feel like this style has lost its charm. I used to love these, but hazy TIPA's have ruined me.
