From Sunday. I've always had a liking to this beer. Big, bold malt profile with balanced hops. I wouldn't age these beers to get the maximum hop flavors.

A real treat. Some spicy notes added to its full amber body that was a pleasant surprise.

#coronapocalypse continues. DFH 120 is still a good beer, but it just isn't what it was in the days of yore when a tapping meant you had to be early to get a ticket to get a small pour. You can't crank up production and maintain that same profile.

Yeah, hoppy. Strong, but I wouldn't guess ~18-ish% if I didn't know, maybe 15-ish. #double120day

Not as crazy about this years as I was over the past few. Good, but just something off. Could be the lowered ABV.

Boozy and unbalanced on the malty side, even when new. Basically a blonde barleywine, and a pretty tasty one. Despite the label I'd advise against aging this one. It needs fresh(ish) hops to help balance the intense boozy body.

A classic, but also very malty— not quite an IPA, but definitely not really an American barleywine.

Happy 120 Minute Day! This is tasting like rum raisin, caramel, sherry, with a touch of bitter resin on the finish. Full bodied and impossibly boozy!

Only 15 percent this year. Tastes very strong, but also more drinkable. Not sure the trade offs are worth it.

Have had a yearning for this beer lately... good beer for the non-competitive game that is on. This has been in the bottle 6 months.

Rare real time tick! I did this on 1/20 and overlapped with TNBS. Second bottle tonight. It’s boozy AF and hops counteract the extreme turbinado sugar zest
