I liked it when it was younger, but it’s great anyway. Toasty malty… thanks George

MAN! That still kicks. Like an American style barleywine. Much more drinkable than previous versions I’ve had. The 7yrs did some work, honestly could go another 2-3 w/o any concerns

Head-and-shoulders above 2018! Huge malty and hoppy sweetness with subdued booze 👌

Look what I dusted off, game on! I forgot how boozy this is. Cheers!

Keg aged at my local pub for 3 years takes an already smooth as hell beer and adds to it.

I hated this beer fresh when I bought them. I was like one of the only ones that didn’t get. After aging for 3 years, I totally understand now. It’s like a great barleywine.

Cherry wine vibes, boozy but waaaaaay smoother than I would expect for 18%. It’s really good. Bday beer 23/30. Thanks to Jeff M. for this legend.

Today’s 12/01/20 so I should probably have 2 #proper

When you consider the fact that it’s 20% stronger than the strongest beer you can usually find, it gets serious clout. Hello, LUCA

Wish I had a fresh one to compare with. Still has some heat.

Bottled 12.14.17. Orange marmalade, burnt sugar, sugar daddy, malty. Surprisingly smooth for the insane abv. Still absurdly dangerous just like MOX vs OMEGA. #AEW thx for the bottle Mike J. and also Dylan C. for braving it with me!

Unexpectedly found this in my unpacking! It wasn’t cellared properly for the last 3 years, but it’s still decent and boozy as hell!

No head. My daughter said it looks like apple cider and she's spot on. Intense and focused dried apricot & peach, fruitcake, and honeyed apple, massively rich mouthcoating palate, alcohol speaks but in check, hop driven finish buried by rich fruit.

4 years later! Definitely more of a barleywine character now, but still a bit boozy and unbalanced. Certainly much better than fresh -- oxidation has added some wonderful flavors to this. Persimmon notes?

Aged till today. Drinking with and in celebration of Katherine’s birthday. Aroma of cherry and sweet vermouth. Flavors follow suit with a solid malt backbone.

Celebrating getting my lawn mowed before the rain started. Cheers!

Um, it IS in production and here. And delicious.

Deep orange, almost amber hue, honeyed dried apricot with touch of fruitcake nose, rich mouthcoating palate of more hop bitterness well buffered by massive fruits, non-stop hop fruited finish, though not as balanced and mind-blowing as last bottle.

Pretty sure it's a 2017 (the year is pretty well rubbed off). A lot of the hippy, resinous bitterness has dissipated; a couple more ears and I think we'll achieve full, Sugar Daddy / Bit-O-Honey goodness
