120 Minute IPA (2017)

IPA - Imperial / Double

Clocking in at 15-20% ABV, 120 Minute IPA is continuously hopped with a copious amount of high-alpha American hops throughout the boil and whirlpool, and then dry-hopped with another pallet of hops. Unfiltered and abundently hoppy, it's the Holy Grail for hopheads! We brew 120 Minute IPA a few times a year, but it goes fast. If you find some grab a few bottles -- some to enjoy and some to age.

#2. Interesting to see the differences in the vintages… check out the colors L—>R. (08, 17, 19, 20… wish we had something in the early 2010-13s).

Aged for almost 5 years. Just smooooooooth! Caramel, toffee and a slight chocolate texture. Booze is obviously present but not quite a barley wine which is what I was expecting. Dangerously drinkable!

Sweet nose. Slight bitterness up front with honey on the back end to finish with spice.

Happiness is almost completely gone. Smells nutty. Tastes like a bourbon aged ale. Four years, worth the wait. Thanks Matt M. for picking this one up for me!

Last of the four pack from the cellar. Figgy, toffee, holding glass fairly well. Abv is fairly in control.

Underwhelming to be honest. Maybe because it’s 4 years old? Bottled 10/26/17. Spicy caramel notes

Gotta love friends who cellar beer and then forget about it. Malty, caramelly, boozy yet smooooth.
