Wow, incredible, just a few weeks shy of 5 years cellared. Has mellowed to perfection and just at its peak. Still has a booziness to it but not hot. Smooth velvety feel. Delicious toasty roasted malted barley. Definitely developed port notes. 🍻1️⃣❤️🌎☮️

Still some heat considering the age, tastes like roasted malt / barley. Still holding up well.

You can smell the heat and feel it on your breath but you can’t taste anything but chocolate. Beautiful.

Whoa! This is much smoother than expected! 5 years of aging has done this stout just right!! Really smooth with a nice bitter finish😋

Strong and boozy. A little sweet, roasty, and caramelly, but very boozy.

How this could be purchased in a retail establishment after five years is beyond me. It’s as close to perfect as I can really imagine.

Definitely warming but not boozy at this point. Drinks like a real smooth high abv stout, it's only missing the barrel character

Potent stuff. Bottled on 11-1-16 and still flammable. Still got 2 left.

Super smoothed out now. Missing any booziness which is kinda good but also kinda part of DFH-WWS. Overall super tasty and a treat to have. Thanks Ryan !
