A thin layer of remotely smoky and herbal lardo spread over robust apricot. Youthful brett barges in. Taste introduces a plot twist. Subtle mix of funk and fruit, tingling one's front palate. Lovely sugared acid. Sour milk at the edges. Endless.

The fruitiness of ripe, slightly wrinkled apples on the nose, earthy farmhouse funkiness on the palate, and a sour, acid kick on the finish that nips at your tongue. A perfect aged lambic--I couldn't ask for anything more. 👌

Überragendes Bier. Mittlerweile keinerlei süße mehr. Knackjg sauer mit viel Apfel und Essig. Sehr smooth und holzig

This is even better than I remember. Loads of fresh sparkling green apple, citrus, some bitter floral notes and some dusty blue cheese funk. Quite a lot of carbonation but not as much as Boon's regulars. Lovely slick body.

Poeh wat is dit lekker! Fris en zuur, hout, tonen van appel en zoetheid. Gebrouwen op 27 april 2016 en gebotteld op 28 november 2018.

Overwhelmingly tart with an unusual grapefruity acidity to it. Just a touch of sweetness. Really nice mouthcoating savory dryness that is so refreshing it's unbelievable. The age is there too on the palette. Brewed on 27.4.2016 and bottled on 28.11.2018

Grass, hay, light grapes on the nose. Taste is very delicate, very light funk, barrels are present but not overly so, light crisp tart finish.

Tour of Flanders continues. Plenty of barrel in the nose, tart apple funk with a beautifully balanced vinous character, nice acidity and a really zingy mouthfeel. A delight!

4.35.impressive and balanced as always.a bit boozier than expected from a lambic but that makes it more vinous i think.

Lang geleden dat ik weer eens een uit de VAT serie heb gehad. Net als alle anderen is dit weer een top bier. Fris fruitig en kruidig zuur met een smakelijke droge, wrange afdronk. Smaken van witte droge wijn, appeltjes, salie, tijm en eikenhout.

Mooi zuurtje met een twist van de wilde vergisting. Beetje eikenhout en vooral appelsmaak gemengd met droge witte wijn. Lekker kruidig. Droge afdronk. Top geuze dit.

In april 2016 gebrouwen en gebotteld in november 2018. Kleine reset voor onze laatste ronde zodadelijk. Prachtige smaakvolle en verfrissende geuze. Funky en bomvol groene appeltjes en citrus. Droog in de finish..
