Aroma is oak, spices. Taste is vanilla, not cheesy! Very dry and not too sour. A bit citric which is unusual for Boon. Broad flavour profile, medium bodied, not watery or thin. Quite some tannins in aftertaste.

was really frightened to try this. i’ve never had a lambic before and this one was so expensive … and it says on untappd that it’s not in production anymore … and there was like a champagne cork in it… freaked me out. tastes crazy… like sour beer soda

Interesting, definitely get that Cognac or smoky note to it. Very oakey and funk forward. 4.1

Goudkleurig helder, fruitig zacht neusje, heel zachte romige caramel-vanille-achtige smaak, beetje rokerig, heel zacht zuur, wie kan di nou nie smaken 🤔😋

Turbid golden/orange beer with slight yeast and with a slight off-white head. Medium aroma; taste starts medium sweet and ends slightly dry and sour. Wood, vanilla, fruit, apricot, tart and citrus. 7/4/9/4

Intense and elegant Geuze with some smokey caramel like flavour and a great deal of peach and citrus. Lovely

Van 2016! Heerlijk fris appelzuur aroma! Mooie scherpe en friszure groene appeltjes, daarna droog eikenhout en subtiel ronde, lichtzoete vanille. In afdronk appelzuur, droog en subtiel zoet. Echt een fantastisch bier! Heerlijke zuurtegraad!
