More bitter than I anticipated, but unfortunately not with enough acidity and/or sweetness to balance. Fruitiness is also rather absent, and a slightly off-tasting tartness also doesn’t help. Not really enticing.

It's a challenge to make kriek worse than alcopop "lambic" Mort Subite, but Boon managed to pass this challenge with flying colors.
