De specifieke “Boon-smaak” is hier erg dominant aanwezig, top gewoon. Kan best nog wat langer op kelder blijven.

Bit more musty than I remember, or that's just the cellaring... Grapefruit, funk, apples, lemon, wet wood and some touch from cognac. Still some bite from the alcohol (little too much for my taste). Sour with dry finish. Lost some freshness with age.

Fuckin score, especially in the clearance cart for $9! Delicious geuze. It's geuz-y. The 'yak presence is a nice touch. 4.39

Tart, astringent, apples, light citrus. Dry and bitter, both pretty hard hitting. Mid-high carbs.

Veel citroen, tonen van sinaasappel, kersen, en zelfs perzik. Iets meer bitterheid dan de normale reguliere oude geuze. Heerlijk!

Zacht, zoetzuur, fruitig, mooi in balans! Gebotteld in 2016. Met gerookte forel en bloemkool crème.

Heel malse en evenwichtige Geuze. Een mariage parfait... Maar omdat het in VAT serie zit ook te duur voor wat het is 😉

Mooi aroma bij ontkurken fles. Bescheiden schuim rand bij uitschenken die echter snel volledig verdwijnt. Mooie diepe kleur. Gueze blijft parelen van onderaan het glas. Smaak vrij zuur en eerder vlak. Bescheiden afdronk.
