Vellagret belgisk lambic av høy kvalitet - kåret til «the best gueuze in the world» på World Beer Awards i 2021. Lambicen ble brygget i 2015 og har vært lagret på eikefat i 4,5 år og siden på flaske (lagringsbrygg med holdbarhet til 2040).

Hazy blond/copper colour, white foam. Nose of citrus, lemon, apples, funk and barnyard, some grassy and herbal notes also. Great complex geuze.

Belgian Beer Club 4: Did this after Beer 5 and cheese to get the full effect. Immense. I love the Vat range. Funky as hell.

J’avais un craving de Gueuze et ça fait mon bonheur. J’adore cette série de Boon qui nous fait voyager dans toutes sortes de directions à même le style. // Bien fruité avec une certaine rondeur mais la finale balance le tout. Super

Thanks Steffen H. 4 years since the bottling date. Starts to get a nice complex touch. Sour, woody, acidic, wild, funky. Excellent 👌. I still have a bottle and will open it in 2040.

Oak, funk and bruised apples. Dry and not enamel-rippingly acidic. Lovely gueuze.

Close to perfection. Het natuurlijk zuur onderbroken door de bitter van eik toets en cognac aroma.

Het is elke keer weer een feest om er een van de VAT serie open te maken. Deze had er zin in. Een luide knal en veel geknetter en die smaak, hemels. Heeft iets van whiskey/ cognac. Hint van turf en verfolie smaak. Hint van abrikoos, perzik, peer, walnoot.
