Grand Cru Bruocsella Lambic Bio (2020) Wolmer
This refers to the brewed 2017, kegged 2020 one. Apples and stuff, you know the deal.

50 Degrees N - 4 Degrees E (2018) (Brandy) Wolmer
This bottle hasn't advanced much since last time. Too.

Rosé de Gambrinus (2021) Wolmer
Loads of raspberries, but also very dry, however not extremely sour!

Backwoods Bastard (2014) Wolmer
Rather flat, but not thin. Toffee and warming alcohol. Still alive.

Half a year ago I had a glass from another 2019 keg, and it was close to perfect. This one however is too hoppy for its sourness, or perhaps the other way around. (But still tasty.)

It's that thing with vanilla in beer... But it's reasonable anyway.

Surprisingly much fruit after 5 years. It's also got a rather sharp sourness though, which is a slight detraction.

A little rough methinks. And there I deviate from the majority.

Oude Schaarbeekse Kriek (2019) Wolmer
Dry, not thick, björnklister, a slight bitter edge even.
That's not an appropriate glass.. Anyways, banana power etc. Most definitely a weizen though across that border.

Cuvée Saint-Gilloise (Champions) (2019) Wolmer
This keg is more normal than the bottles. Still quite hoppy.

Kriek 100% Lambic Bio (2016) Wolmer
It's in an in between phase of its development.

Bottle from 2014. Yes, has berries, but I couldn't tell which ones.

Oude Geuze Boon à L'Ancienne - Vat 86 Mono Blend Wolmer
Smooth entré, roughish finish. And this is no longer a young lambic so it should have a rough finish. No, doesn't quite cut it.

So this is the 2016 on the bottle, but bottled in 2018.

50 Degrees N - 4 Degrees E (2018) (Brandy) Wolmer
Has shaped up seriously in the last 6 months, better balanced but still not top notch. "Just" good.

From yesterday. Less fruit here than in the glass I had last week.

Really intense apricots. Could be because the keg is next to emptied and this is where the taste is :-)

Massive berry power, and these berries are not wimp fodder. I wonder what this beer tastes a year or two from now.

Cuvée Saint-Gilloise (Champions) (2018) Wolmer
The last drops from the keg. Doesn't make it taste worse. Still quite hoppy.

Gueuze 100% Lambic Bio (2017) Wolmer
Sort of embodies the sensation of entering the brewery (which I for certain reasons haven't experienced this year).

Not sure about that sweetness from the port barrel. But of course not bad. Thanks for the beer!

No longer as much grapes as I think it once had. But when did you last have a bad Cantillon beer?
Definitely a saison. But the bitterness doesn't really connect to the rest of the taste.
