Hmmm it’s spicy and peppery but it’s cantillon but I’m just not sure on this one. Good if you like that spicy lambic kind of thing. Add a point for the spicy.

2024 and a bottle share with the best mate David B. This is a lovely spritzy grape and funky lambic. Been a fun new years at the golden tap. Friendly crowd and relaxing chilled time.

After a very busy but great day visiting Asasuka, the Tokyo sky tree (worlds tallest tower) and then afternoon in Shinbuya it’s time for a pint which is a very nice fruity hazy tropical IPA. Great mikkeller bar and very relaxing!

A superb grapefruit and juicy citrus keg pale by Gamma. A great Copenhagen brewery and good to see them on tap here. Been a great cheeky impromptu visit in here this afternoon.

Bartender kindly told me they’ve another new keg on of this cantillon. I’m being spoilt with nice lambics. This is a nice fresh on fairly tart, tasty honey and white grape flavoured lambic. C’est Bon!

I’m not 100% sure I’m checking the right beer in but I think I’m right with this. Either way this is a tasty fruity slightly sour and tart light grape zesty lambic. C’est Bon!

Nice to be in the famous Belgian cantillon. Very chilled in here too. Enjoying a bottle share with the always acclaimed David B. This is a grape and spritzy light white wine style lambic that’s a little to acidic for me but not had a lambic for a while.

Holy tropical fruit Batman. Smooth and thick tropical with deep passion fruit, mango and lime fruity flavours to this Berliner weisse. Tasty fruity beer this one from the Danish brewery.

Been a great time at Rivi far trip with a great crew. Of course we ended up in the plug. This is a smooth hoppy crispy citrus pale lager. Tasty this one.

Just enjoyed the Cantillon museum tour Egypt was fun. Free tasters is a nice bonus too. This is a nice lambic from the jug. Light and grape tasting easy drinking style to this.

Great to experience the lambic in Brussels. Bottle share with ‘last day of being 21ish’ David B. A light raspberry and blueberry and nice hint of vanilla lambic. Not to tart and low acidic with heaps of fruity flavour. Definitely my preferred style.

Arrived in sunny Belgium and enjoying an explore. This is a very nice bar with a great beer selection. It’s a thing they say to start with a lambic. This is a very tart but oh so funky, juicy raspberry spritzy lambic. Tasty!

A slightly dry, piney and bitter pale. Nice grapefruit citrus flavours though. For a collab with Gamma and Deya I was hoping for more but I’m not hugely into bitter pales. If you like it bitter then add a point.

A grapefruit citrus pale. It’s got a hint of sabro 🤢 but… only very subtle and the other flavours are stronger than that hop.

A great relaxing bar this. They’re putting their Christmas decorations up to and that makes me very happy! 🎄👍😀. This is a tasty hefeweizen pale beer. Lovely banana weisse flavour to this.

Jule Malt Bourbon Edition Moon
I blame David B. For ordering such weak stouts but here we are ‘taking it easy’ for the first night out. A boozy bourbon stout share that’s got heaps of coffee and chocolate taste that’s crazy smooth.

Slightly carbonated but light citrus melon and mango pale. Tasty but a tad fizzy for the guy wearing a Zelda T-shirt. Not enough rupees in this beer but still good flavour.

Enjoying a day trip to the harbour Viking city of Roskilde, Denmark. Happened to find a nice little bar serving the awesome dry and bitter and this is a great sweet mango and passion fruit fairy boozy pale beer. Very tasty!

Having tea at this ramen Japanese style food bar. It’s all very mad jap and I’m very hungry. Enjoying this pale yuzu fruit pale beer. It’s slightly odd but so is the bar. Not in a bad way though!
