There's a point where the subtleties of a black ipa get lost in the strength. 12% is beyond that. That said, this is a lovely, liquoricey delight. Damn brexit (or maybe it's a good thing?) for preventing me from accessing these folks' stuff easily.

Impecable black ipa, de lo mas rico que he tomado en el estilo, casi una ris, pero el lupulo esta bien arriba, resinoso, pino, y algo citrico, despues mucho cafe y chocolate negro, cuerpo medio pleno, muy muy buena

Now that’s interesting! Never had a black IPA. Seems contradicting but ends up complimentary. It’s closer to a stout with the caramely toasted coffee notes. Yet the sharper freshness of an IPA is clearly present and the 12% seems… not there. Dangerous!

Mørk og floral i næsen. Meget blød med en markant bitterhed og tydelig alkohol der i kombination med de mørke malte bliver nærmest lakrids agtig.

Beast of a black IPA!!! OMFG! Alcohol and burnt malt notes are completely aligned with the hoppy notes in this beer. I’m a huge fan!

Black, thick, fine tan head. Smells hoppy, bit grassy, some roast. Great smooth body, with a nice bite to it. Taste is a bit on the sweet side, but with a soft bitterness underneath. Only light roast, chocolate, with a clear scoop of hops. Grass, licorice

Taking a risk with this. Lots of hops but loads of roasty notes too. Liquorice is there malty flavours Really well put together sauce. 4.2
