Finally I get to taste this iconic vinous craft by Cantillon. Beautifully balanced, round and complex offering with a prominent Merlot feel, but also with a noticeable berry backbone. Controlled acidity and barrel intensity. A fine & prestigious product!

A perennial favorite, at a good spot about 2 years in the bottle. Lost some jamminess , better integrated into the lambic base

Lovely balance of fruity and acidic notes. Floral, fruity grape skins, light funk. Nice dry finish. Glad to try this

Thanks to Silviu for this. Think a slightly sweet white wine with a bit of fizz, or a beermosa. Pretty tasty, a change from my usual.
