Merci encore pour ce tumbler Cantillon Yannick D. ! Je l’adore. Il s’en venait temps qu’il entre en service. Le temps fait bien les choses avec cette Gueuze.

Apple juice color and body. Light vinegar, sugar, apricots on the nose. Acid, sour lemons, orange pith; quite puckering. 4.3/5

This is just as I remember it to be when I was at the brewery. Goes very well with Mexican food.

Ripe blue cheese, earth, grape skins. Lovely bottle.

Bottled June 16 2017. Oh, what a nice kick of barnyard and farmhouse notes with lemon sorbet. Metamorphosis closer to St Gilloise.

2016/17 on left (2017/18 on right). 2017 is drier, oakier compared to the 2018's fruitier notes. Both with the characteristic vinegar. Consistent enough I prob. wouldn't note a difference if having either one alone.

Very clear Cantillon funk. Full-on flint and horse. Bitter, too, in that gentian woody way. Pleasant, great with quiche.
