Deep gold, light haze, white head not lasting long. Wood, funk, hints of port on the nose, very promising. Medium high sourness and bitterness. Nutty, easy drinking. Delicious with morbier and serrano ham.

Pear, sweaty grassy funk on the nose. Taste is quite different: nice Cantillon-funky tartness, hints of pear on the backend. Smooth, almost creamy body. Mouthwatering finish.

Tons of toasty barrel character with a soft touch of sweetness. Dry. Light citrus. Great “pizza-night” beer.

Nice woody /oak flavors here, good cranberry type flavors coming through with some solid funk developing. Some interesting dank scents coming through on the nose...which completely work here. This is a beaut. Thxs for opening Garry W. 4.55

11/25/18 bottling paired with duck for Xmas dinner. Port comes through in the aroma especially. Then it’s classic Cantillon gueuze, with a bit better balance than a normal bottle. Totally loved it. 4.6

Light tart Cantillon funk, mellow gueze with vinous, gently tannic port barrel vibes following in behind.

More than likely won’t find out what these will taste like after a long period of cellaring.

Just imagine this in ten more years of bug eating must and dust

Incredible nutty taste at the start. Then this funk we love. Incredible.

Starting off my weekend right! Excellent, lots of port and wood coming through along with layers of brett and soft acidity.

Much funkier than a typical Cantillon gueuze, port comes out more as it warms. Curious to see how this tastes in a few years

Quite the funky lemon this one, not much perceptible port character though.

Wonderful nose: funk, hints of pipe tobacco, citrus, wood. Palate follows, more tart than expected, and surprisingly different than the bottle I had just two months ago. Classic Cantillon floral funk, and surprisingly sediment-free.
