Side by side with 2019. 16 had more musk and funk, while the 2019 was brighter and fruitier. Very different drinking experiences.

Amazing beer. I’m not sure it will peak like the 2013 and 2014 blends but it’s still a beer I’d love to have more of. Balanced funk, fruit, and acidity with a lovely body. Merlot, green olive, wet wood, dry straw, funk intensity is medium overall.

In a sweet spot right now-perfectly balanced and remains my fav Loon. Time to get some ‘21 in the cellar!

Well this was an absolute treat, but I was very drunk and of course I’m checking it in a decade late. But thank you for cracking this, Tim!

Celebrating the next chapter of my life with the best beer, bourbon, and friends tonight. I wish everyone important to me could be here right now. I got a job offer today for something I never thought I’d have a shot at. Everything is perfect tonight.

Mildly jammy cabernet grape, some white oak, somewhat musty. Just pleasantly tart.

This is remarkable now after 4-5 years. Red fruits, vanilla, mild acidity, barnyard, blue cheese funk, light mustiness, light puckering tannins in the finish. Lambic is really dominating the fruit now. Really special when that happens with old grapes.

Yesterday. Grapes, wet basement, and a gorgeous appearance. I think this one will be good for at least another 5 years, if not more. Not my favorite vintage, but still St Lam is St Lam.

Printed bottle date: 14 November 2016. Clear red, light ring head. Sour grains, hay, grapes. Fruity and sour with firm horseblanket funk. Sharp high pitched fruity sour reminiscent of strawberries, to some more bass sour notes close to grapes. Soft carb.

Brought this back with me from Cantillon a few years ago. Missing Brussels and Belgium so much ❤ 🇧🇪

Beautiful bottle. Surprisingly easy. Red grapes, raspberry, lime, red currants n blackberry notes. Oak, alpha acidity n some nice funk to it. Tasty stuff 👌 Thanks big bro Micke N. 4 this

Very nice, indeed. Red grapes, lemon, oak and some red berries. Beauty vinous touch to it with a refreshing balanced tarness and some lovely funky notes. Hints of balsamic vinegar in the finish. Great bottle to share with Peter N. 💕 4.5+

LCI. Semi-hazy ruby pour with a thin pink-white head. Notes of mouldy oak barrel, sweet grapes, red wine, tannins, soft lambic funk. Good stuff.
