Apparently this has aged great from when it first came out according to the group, I don’t know but this was my favorite beer of the day!

Catching up on Brussels drinks. Pro tip: If you go to the brewery right after Zwanze Day, there might be vintages you can try. This was aged in Italian wine barrels, adding a subtle fruitiness.

08/21/20 check-in. Most outstanding Zwanze ever? Hyper balance and depth. A mineral film on the surface, white grapes, tart, sour-ish, small grapefruit, and the most clean lambic mouthfeel. Great.

Wild and peppery. Like a small grains crushed into glass. Complex and deep. Always a guarantee and a treat from the best Zwanze in the last ten years.
