EB Quintessence Trip April 16-19. Very nice white grape lambic. Deliciously complex already at this young age.

Nose has lots of white vinous character with hints of something chemical (band-aid?), but the palate is one of the nicest white wine grape expressions I’ve had in a Cantillon: fresher grape at the front cascading into straight-up wine at the back. Nice.

Lovely new batch, I needed longer than most to really get into this beer, not a top 10 for me but I really enjoy it now. It has that orange wine juiciness but it displays differently than Racine or Sophia for instance, more honey notes + tarter lambic

Tuerie ça. Plaisir a toujours talonné Vin Santo mais sur l'édition 2021 ça devient vraiment difficile à départager. C'est d'une élégance, d'un équilibre et d'un... plaisir, juste incroyable.

Vandaag drinken we wederom een Le Plaisir. Wederom in gezelschap van een Belg. Dit is een combinatie tussen de Scarabee en de Tarlantillon. Gelaagd, zoetig en beetje peachy.

Actually quite preferring the newer blend it’s somehow more dry and musty. Super complex and zero ketchup on the nose. All rolling open vineyards, hay and funk. Slight ripe pears 🍐 at the end.
