지난 배치가 20년도였나? 향의 밀도가 약간은 낮아진듯 하지만 자두향 너무좋당 맛도 전반적으로 20보다 옅은듯함 온도오르면 향은 더 피는데 맛은 떨어져서 조금 남기고 향만 맡아도 조음

Bottled: 16 August 2022; this was super disappointing; great nose to this: bright, fleshy apricot & Cantillon house culture; first 25% on the palate is more of the nose, which is great, but this dives quickly to a disappearing, near-non existent finish…

So, the fresh batch of Fou’Foune is this clean, straightforward, and not starchy? I like it! The apricot and funky notes are vivid and invigorating. Smooth mouthfeel. Medium-bodied. Nice acidity with lots of apricot juiciness. Balanced sweetness. Dry.

Excellente, évolutive comme énoncé sur l'étiquette. Le côté Lambic prend un peu plus de présence après quelques minutes d'aération. A découvrir !

Freshie Boi is fun to crack. The apricots are subtle, but add to the overall flavor. Cool this is now just like on menus and people aren’t elbowing each other to get it when in public. Stored vertically but served in a (super nice) lambic basket? 😬.

My friend asked me to bring a bottle of Cantillon because he had the wine which used a barrel of Cantillon beer for its aging. I chose this, and it turned out that the wine used Fou’Foune barrel.

It's Cantillon, drinks like a wine, smooth, fruity abricot, les acidic then some... It's own kind of beer!

Acidity is soft as expected given freshness. Bright stonefruit and funk. Tasting mighty fantastic as always.

What better way to see out 2022 than with a Fou. Other years have definitely had a bolder apricot taste but this still has soft soft stone fruit notes and a lovely acidic Tartness. Happy new year!
