Black pepper spiked orange, not the floral explosion of 3F's Vlierbloesem, but insanely, palate alteringly unique compared to my underwhelming first experience with this years ago, and just fluffy af.

Doften drar åt nässlor. Grön paprika/chili och fläder, som tur följer inte paprikan med så mycket i smaken. Medium syra och medium brett. Kryddighet typ kardemumman som troligen kommer av jäsningen.

Poivre très présent (surtout au nez), la fleur de sureau est plus discrète. C'est sec et peu acide avec quelques notes végétales. Le côté fleur de sureau s'intensifie et les notes poivrées diminuent à mesure que la bière se réchauffe et s'ouvre.

Was super interested in this blend when I heard some portion of zwanze 2022 was blended with it. Result is my favorite mamouche to date! Amazing blend of the floral elements with some extra dimension from the pepper. Absolute banger - drink fresh! 4.6

Bright elderflower with a nice acidity and barrel deepness. Remind me of the elderflower syrup we did as a kid. Taste is deep, funky. Flowers adds some freshness that makes it very drinkable. Lovely stuff

This was accidentally aged in barrels that held Zwanze 2022. Very interesting. The peppery spice is still clear on the nose, but is far more restrained and enjoyable on the palate compared to Poivre.
