Massively malty with fruity esters like black cherry and orange. High bitterness masked by sweet maple.

Still got it. I think it’s dropped off a little bit, but not enough to lower my rating. At the ABV it’s a very rich brew.

Aged 4 years in the bottle… big on syrup and cola notes… not much else. Decent but not better than it was in year 1.

Proeverij 3/4: Niet direct geschikt voor het ontbijt, maar voor andere momenten een zeer geschikt drankje. De koffie is aanwezig en ondanks dat het niet overheersend is blokkeert het wel de weg richting de 5.

Back on DND Boyz campaign! Happy Stout Day! Maple syrup is still there 4 years later. Thin chocolate bark taste and cinnamon clove too. More bitter cocoa and charred oak flavors this year. Might hold a few more bottles next year!

I feel like the coffee has gotten stronger. Still great maple and barrel. Not as viscous, but at 4 years oh well. Excited to grab some fresh ‘23 soon!! 4.40
