Not as maple-y as you might expect. Solid wheat wine.

Barrel aged series. 12.8%. Bourbon barrels. Smooth and sweet like maple caramel.

I'm liking beers that taste less like beer more and more

My first wheat wine. This is really nice. Smooth, sweet, caramel, boozy. Definitely an after dinner sipper. Wonder how this would pare with a good cigar? Now to find a bottle.

The aroma put me off. I thought the sweetness was going to be overwhelming. Pleasantly surprised it was well craft. Just enough maple to sweeten the deal. Leaves you feeling warm from the bourbon finish

Boozy, malty aroma, that carries through in the flavor. Multi layered flavors that make this one a very rich tasting and enjoyable one.

Sticking with my original score on this one. Slightly sweet maple and vanilla flavor. The barrel aging give it a strong ABV kick. Very unique flavor profile and well done wheat wine. Wish the KBS series were as unique as this offering from Founders.

That was most nice 😁. A refreshing and distinct brew as I do not know any other beer to compare it to.

Pretty amber pour. Caramelly and clean with a hint of maple sweetness. Actually fits the "boozy" description you often see, yet smooth and easy to drink.

A barrel-aged wheat wine ale?! Never heard of it before. Nice and sweet, mellow, and better as it warmed. Recommended. From April 29th.

Lots of honey, maple, oak, vanilla, super earthy, and a sweet crystal and wheat malt character. Medium-full body. Pretty nice, very drinkable at 12.8%.

Boozy and strong upfront giving way to a Carmelly and Maple infused midpoint before finishing smooth and slightly sweet. Using a glass to pour from bottle. #ClassyBastard
