Maple and molasses, real smooth but still has a bit of booziness hanging around. Slayer - Undisputed Attitude (1996)

Drinking incredibly right now! Perfectly balanced, maple syrup and candy sweet bourbon. Only complaint is a touch thin. But that’s nitpicking a beer that’s far better after 2 years than fresh. Really impressed!!!

Wauw! De maple syrup die in de bourbon vaten zat zorgt voor een heel mooi zoetje in dit bier. Man, wat een topper, veel te klein flesje.

High alcohol content...and you taste it. Great cherry? And maple flavor, molasses...not as strong as other bourbon, but similar.

Excellent. Did great aged. Amazing flavor, held the carbonation, big vanilla, maple.

Back of the fridge. Good way to end the football season. The bourbon is nice but it still has the sweetness of a barely-wine. Nicely done, just not my style.

Aromas of molasses and malts. Generous head. Tastewise we've got some some malts, maple syrup, molasses, wood, a decent amount of sweetness. Slightly boozy & very smooth and mellow mouthfeel over long lasting aftertaste. Body is warming & strong

Raisins and bourbon. A bit like a quad or Trappist brew.

For me started out mostly Bourbon and alcoholism. As it warmed a more agreeable maple and bourbon.

Decent barley wine, very boozy with slight bourbon barrel and maple syrup sweetness

Aromas of alcohol, toffee caramel, brown sugar, bread, malts, dried fruits and vanilla from oak barrels. Flavors of maple syrup, caramel, vanilla, raisins, alcohol and some whiskey. Boozy and bittersweet aftertaste. Very full body with a rich head.

Definitely worth the wait. Boozy bourbon has mellowed nicely. Scotch ale like caramel sweetness. ABV 12.7% and a slow sipper. Very enjoyable.
