Alles was man an einem Barrel Aged Imperial Stout möchte: intensive Kaffee und Schokoladenaromen ohne aschig oder röstig zu wirken. Weich, dick, wachsartig, Bourbon-Fass, Eiche. Alles da, sehr komplex und 12,3% top verdeckt. Weltklasse Ding.

After nearly five years in the cellar it is almost dead flat - not a bad thing tho. Without the CO² bite, it really lets the barrel flavors come thru. Good beer.

Geur: gebrande koffie, vanille, chocolade. Pure chocolade in de smaak, zoet maar met een stevige gebrande smaak en boozy bourbon achtergrond. Stevig biertje, fijn om te delen. Lekker!
