Did a vertical of the 2017 and 2018. Both held up well in spite of improper cellaring temps at one point. 2018 was a bit more boozy, especially while still cold. Not as much chocolate as 2017 and slightly lighter bodied. Still was quite enjoyable!

Port winey and bourboney (are those even words?). Chocolate and grapes. Lovely, bit velvety mouthfeel. Someting between 4.00-4.25.

Absolutely delightful chocolate-coffee-bourbon bomb! I'd guess the age has thinned the body somewhat and brought some vinous, portish aspects into play, some dried fruit, some tobacco perhaps. Becomes noticeably boozy after a while. 4.3

More than 5 years old, and I think it has reached its limit. The flavors are still there, but the beer is thinning and doesn’t stand up against a 2020 or younger KBS. Still pretty good though.
